STEM

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) is a term given to lessons and activities that focus on one or more of the ‘STEM’ subjects and promotes hands on, creative problem solving. At St Peter Julian Eymard Community School, students attend STEM sessions as a specialist subject with a strong focus on Technology. Our STEM department is well resources with a variety of robotic devices to assist students with their critical and creative problem solving skills. The fours skills of Creativity, Critical Thinking, Collaboration and Communication are also strong foci of STEM curriculum at SPJE. We aim to give our students the skills they need to create their own future.
